Divya Delhi: In a touching tribute, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the family of his close friend Arun Jaitley. He was joined by his wife Meherunissa Anand, mother Sangeeta Jaitley, sister Sonali Jaitley Bakhshi, and daughter. Arun Jaitley was India's Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister from 2014 to 2019. Posthumously in 2020, he received India's second-highest civilian honor, the Padma Vibhushan, for public affairs. His son Rohan Jaitley has gained widespread prominence in legal and sports administration. As DDCA President, he is praised for his dedicated and successful leadership. Apart from cricket, Rohan is a respected Supreme Court and Delhi High Court lawyer. Amity University, Noida, awarded him an LLB, and Cornell University, New York, an LLM. He became the Central Government Standing Counsel for the Delhi High Court in 2024 after joining the Bar Council in 2012.
