Divya Delhi:  The JEE Main 2025 results were announced  affecting lakhs of engineering students nationwide. As always, the competition was stiff, and while many students have qualified for JEE Advanced 2025  others must now decide their future steps. Those with low scores may feel discouraged immediately. Education professionals advise pupils not to consider this the end of their trip. “It is perfectly natural to feel disappointed," says a Delhi-based career counselor, “but JEE is just one of many paths to success in science and technology." A detailed appraisal of your January and April outcomes helps you understand your position. If you earned 80 percentile in January and 85 in April, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will use the higher percentile. Students should compare their percentiles to jeemain.nta.nic.in's JEE Main cut-offs. The 85-90 percentile cut-off is typical, with reserved categories having lower requirements. If your score is close to the cut-off, you may qualify for JoSAA counseling or JEE Advanced.
