Divya Delhi: China has expedited the delivery of its cutting-edge fifth-generation stealth jets, the J-35A, to Pakistan, which is concerning for India. The first 30 of these jets are anticipated to be delivered to Pakistan by August 2025, according to media reports. China has agreed to give Pakistan these fighter jets at a 50% discount and with flexible payment conditions, which is a major demonstration of military cooperation. For what Beijing describes as Pakistan's "successful air defense performance against India," the country has been granted this 50% discount "reward." This development is noteworthy since it follows the recent confrontation between Pakistan and India. According to rumors, Pakistan might purchase 40 J-35A fighter jets in late 2025, which would be China's first known transfer of such cutting-edge military hardware. Originally, the delivery of these stealth jets was planned for the end of 2026. A number of high-profile talks between Chinese and Pakistani officials and ministers have occurred after India and Pakistan agreed to the ceasefire agreement. Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister of Pakistan, is currently in China. According to reports, he has met with Chinese officials to settle the J-35 fighter plane deal's financing and logistics. Furthermore, a group of Pakistani pilots reportedly received operational training on the J-35A platform at the People's Liberation Army Air Force headquarters in Beijing.
