Divya  Delhi:  Another Saurabh Rajput-like murder occurred in Behsuma, Meerut. Ravita and her lover, Amarjeet, strangled her husband, Mickey. They placed a deadly snake on his bed to simulate an accident. Ten snake bite marks on Amit's torso suggested he died. His family hired a snake catcher to remove it. However, the postmortem showed Amit died from asphyxiation, not snake bites. After arresting both suspects, the postmortem report revealed that Amit died from suffocation, not a snake bite. These led investigators to suspect murder. They investigated and questioned Amits's wife, Ravita, and her lover, Amarjeet. Both initially lied to police, but subsequently confessed. Police reported that Amarjeet paid ₹1,000 to a snake charmer in Mahmoodpur Sikheda village for a poisonous viper snake. Amit was strangled and the snake placed under his body at night.The snake bit Amit several times. In the morning, Ravita pretended Amit perished from a snake bite.
