Divya Delhi: Saiyaara, Mohit Suri's love musical, is sweeping the nation at the box office. The picture has broken many box office records in six days and is on track for a historic theatrical lifetime. Sacnilk reported that Saiyaara collected Rs 21 crore (India net)  its sixth day, taking its domestic collection to Rs 153.25 crore. The decline from Tuesday's revenue of Rs 24 crore was expected due to Tuesday's lower ticket pricing at several national cinema chains. The Day 6 figure nearly matches the film's opening day haul, which is remarkable for a new directors' film. Saiyaara outperforms post-pandemic Bollywood blockbusters Jawan and Pathaan in weekday retention and footfalls. Saiyaara had 36.29% Hindi occupancy. It started with 21.14% in the morning, rose to 36.93% in the afternoon, 39.00% in the evening, and 48.08% at night. Tier-2 cities are major contributors in areas. Jaipur had 58% occupancy, Lucknow 44.25%. Traditional strongholds Bengaluru (48.50%), Delhi-NCR (40%), and Mumbai (31.75%) are all performing well.
