Divya Delhi : In 2021, the Sant Nirankari Mission initiated the ‘Oneness One’ Mega Tree Plantation Project to protect the environment under the benign supervision of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ji. The initiative plants and maintains'mini-forests' by caring for a 'cluster of trees'Sant Nirankari Mandal Secretary Honorable Shri Joginder Sukhija Ji stated 1.5 lakh trees were planted throughout India in the first phase of the 'Oneness One' initiative in 2021. Nirankari enthusiasts planted and maintained these trees year-round with the same passion. This 'collection of trees' has grown into a'mini forest'. Migratory and uncommon bird species are also found on this 'group of trees' that nearly disappeared. All these species are crucial to nature's equilibrium. In 2022, the second phase of the 'Oneness One' initiative was enthusiastically arranged, with about 2 lakh trees planted. After then, their number increased year after year, and currently 2.50 lakh trees are planted and cared for. The Mission plants these trees according to the local climate and geographical environment, using good organic manure, clean water, and the latest irrigation techniques to protect and grow them.Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation is launching the fourth phase of this campaign on Sunday, August 11, as a 'Massive Tree Plantation Campaign' in over 600 places across India to implement this project as a social welfare initiative. All mission supporters and volunteers will plant 10 lakh trees and care for them for three to five years to create a'mini forest' like the first phase. This initiative emphasizes the importance of trees for clean air and environmental balance, a lesson underscored by the 2020 COVID-19 crisis, Prana Vayu, or oxygen, for which the existence of these trees is very important because more trees prevent pollution and control local temperature. Through welfare services, the Nirankari Mission has helped 'environment protection' and beautify the land.
