Divya Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the “entire process” and essential “technical aspects” of the three criminal statutes would take three or four years to become fully applicable. After completing the procedure, a person might receive Supreme Court justice within three years after filing the FIR. Mr. Shah said the new legislation will emphasize justice above punishment. The Home Minister said that the three legislation and court processes will be conducted in all languages included in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution, including Tamil. The laws and processes would be in Tamil. Neither the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister nor parliamentarians have requested a debate on their objection to legislation naming. Want to appeal again. Bring your complaints to me. Mr. Shah responded to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K Stalin's criticism of the legislation by saying there are other methods to practice politics. On June 18, Mr. Stalin appealed to Mr. Shah to suspend the legislation because their Sanskrit names violated Article 348. Mr. Shah said police detention was 15 days and not 60. The overall remand is 15 days, however it must be obtained within 60 days after arrest and may be taken in parts. Mr. Shah claimed that before his remand time expired, if an accused was put to police detention and hospitalized for 15 days, he was not interrogated.
