Divya Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the “entire process” and essential “technical aspects” of the three criminal statutes would take three or four years to become fully applicable. After completing the procedure, a person might receive Supreme Court justice within three years after filing the FIR. On June 18, Mr. Stalin appealed to Mr. Shah to suspend the legislation because their Sanskrit names violated Article 348. Mr. Shah said police detention was 15 days and not 60. The overall remand is 15 days, however it must be obtained within 60 days after arrest and may be taken in parts.
