Divya Delhi: NASA has postponed the June 22 Axiom-4 launch. The new launch date for this mission will be announced soon. Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla was one of four astronauts deployed to the ISS. They would be launched by SpaceX's Falcon-9. The International Space Station tweeted, “NASA, Axion Space, SpaceX continue reviewing launch opportunities for Axiom Mission 4.” On Sunday, June 22, NASA will cancel its launch and seek a new date. NASA, Axiom Space, and SpaceX are reviewing alternative launch options for Axiom-4, according to NASA. The agency has postponed the June 22 debut and is looking for a new date. NASA said more time is needed to examine the space station's operational status after Zvezda service module back repairs. To guarantee the space station is ready to safely accommodate additional crew members, the agency is analyzing data on its interconnected systems.NASA said that the Axiom-4 mission is a historic feat for India, Poland, and Hungary and is carefully preparing for it. All mission astronauts are quarantined in Florida and will launch when the station is ready. Former NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson will oversee the expedition, with Shubhanshu Shukla piloting. Mission specialists Slavoj Uznanski and Tibor Kapu are from Poland and Hungary.
