Divya Delhi:   The tour started with the Higher Education Policy Information program, which took place in Hyderabad from March 16 to 22 and brought together academic representatives and 20 heads of top German universities. In a major move to improve Indo-German academic cooperation, more than 80 German research institutes and universities are traveling to India this month, according to a DAAD news release. The delegation will take part in the Indo-German Forum: Research, Innovation and Transfer, the APAIE Conference 2025, the opening of the German School of Technology at PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore, and high-level meetings with Indian universities and research institutes. The Indo-German Forum: Research, Innovation and Transfer will bring together 250 representatives from German and Indian higher education and research institutes, further solidifying academic ties. The event, which is being organized by the DWIH New Delhi and the DAAD Regional Office , will be a crucial venue for collaboration in academia and research, creating new chances for learning, creativity, and information sharing. The occasion coincides with the DAAD's centennial celebrations, commemorating a century of the organization's dedication to international intellectual exchange. We are strengthening a strong collaboration that has been established over many decades as we commemorate DAAD's centennial and 65 years of presence in India. A rising desire in strengthening our academic ties is demonstrated by the involvement of more than 80 German higher education institutions in India this March. The Director of the DAAD Regional Office, Katja Lasch, stated, "These events show our commitment to continue to enhance the academic and research exchange, including partnerships in higher education, research, and innovation between India and Germany."Additionally, the team will attend APAIE 2025, which takes place in New Delhi from March 25 to 27. At the German pavilion, more than 70 German universities will interact with academic representatives from India and other countries in order to develop research networks and partnerships. The widespread involvement shows how eager Germany is to further its research and higher education partnership with India.
