Divya Delhi: In a spectacular final in Jaipur, Rajasthani contestant Manika Vishwakarma was awarded Miss Universe India 2025. The occasion was significant for Manika as she prepares to represent India at the 74th Miss Universe contest in Thailand this November, as former winner Rhea Singha crowned Manika as her successor. Manika is an economics and political science final-year student from Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, who is now residing in Delhi. In addition to her academic background, she has experience as a painter and classical dancer, and she has represented India at the Ministry of External Affairs' BIMSTEC Sewocon. Prestigious establishments like the JJ School of Arts and the Lalit Kala Academy have also acknowledged her artistic ability. Manika is the creator of Neuronova, a project aimed at changing how people think about neurodivergence. Through her platform, she promotes inclusion and understanding by arguing that diseases like ADHD should be seen as distinct cognitive strengths rather than pathologies. Manika was joined on the podium by Amishi Kaushik as the third runner-up, Tanya Sharma from Uttar Pradesh as the first runner-up, and Mehak Dhingra from Haryana as the second runner-up.
