Divya Delhi:  After the Union government approved a hike in toll costs, cars would pay more to traverse the Sadahalli toll plaza on their way to Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport. The revised prices will go into effect on April 2 at midnight. The airport road toll has gone up even more, making it an already costly toll for regular travelers. One or both of the under-24-hour receipts will be subject to the new rates. Light motor vehicles, such as cars, jeeps, and vans, will now pay ₹120 one way and ₹180 return under the new system, up from ₹115 and ₹170 previously. Minibuses, light commercial vehicles, and goods carriers will now pay ₹185 one way and ₹275 return, instead of the former rates of ₹175 and ₹265. Buses and lorries, among other larger vehicles, will now pay ₹370 one way and ₹550 return, instead of the previous ₹355 and ₹535. Vehicles with more than seven axles will now cost ₹725 for a one-way travel and ₹1,090 for a round trip, while heavy construction equipment and vehicles with three to six axles will cost ₹560 for a one-way trip and ₹840 for a return trip.
