Kishtwar Residents Celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr With Religious Enthusiasm and Fervor in Jammu and Kashmir

Divya Delhi:  In the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, Eid-ul-Fitr, also called Eid-al-Fitr, was celebrated with excitement and religious zeal. The largest gathering was held at Chowgan Ground, where more than 50,000 people performed Nimaz-e-Eid and prayed for the nation's and the union territory's peace and prosperity. With a strong religious atmosphere, people commemorated the end of the holy month of Ramadan. In the town and its surrounding areas, Eid Namaz was also offered at various mosques. The required preparations were made during the festivities, putting people's safety and security first. The district police oversaw the preparations to ensure the festivities ran smoothly. Other authorities in attendance included Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Rajesh Shavan JKAS, SSP Kishtwar, Javed Iqbal Mir JKPS, ADC Kishtwar, Pawan Kotwal, Additional SP Kishtwar Pawan Sharma, and others. They prayed for peace, serenity, integrity, communal harmony, and brotherhood in the district and throughout Jammu and Kashmir, and they exchanged Eid greetings with the Muslim community.
