The director said, “Until then request everyone to avoid conjectures until they hear officially from us.” Kiara Advani is reportedly in talks to play Meena Kumari in the biopic, which may be her first feature following her pregnancy. According to sources, "Kiara was approached for the huge project and provided a narration some time back”. Kiara 'liked the narration', but "the actor is yet to sign on the dotted line and give a final nod".
