Divya Delhi:  S Jaishankar, the minister of external affairs, gave his opinions on trade restrictions, tariffs, and technology sanctions or limitations in foreign policy on Wednesday. He claimed that whether we like it or not, tariffs and sanctions are a fact. Jaishankar made the statement during the Raisina debate in  which featured a panel discussion titled "Commissars and Capitalists: Politics, Business and New World Order." He emphasized that the lines separating the various domains across nations have been "eroded" by the rising use of tariffs and sanctions by different nations to safeguard their economic interests. "Sanctions and tariffs, whether we like it or not, are a reality, and countries use them," EAM stated. In fact, if one looks at the past ten years, I would suggest that almost every capability and economic activity has become considerably more weaponized. Technology, energy supply, or financial movements could all be involved.
