Divya Delhi: Three armed masked men in military clothes robbed SBI's Chadachan town branch of Rs 1 crore cash and Rs 20 crore gold. Reports said the group entered the State Bank of India  evening with firearms and guns and held staff hostage before fleeing. The accused allegedly confined the bank manager and other personnel in the bathroom. Customers' wrists and feet were bound using plastic bags. The bank thieves pretended to open a current account and threatened the manager to access the cash vault. “Take out the cash, otherwise I will kill you,” one thief told the branch manager, according to. After the event, Vijayapura SP Laxman Nimbargi arrived. The armed individuals committed the crime in a Suzuki EVA with a bogus number plate, according to preliminary findings.
