Divya Delhi: Chief Justice DY Chandrachud has nominated Justice Sanjiv Khanna as his successor, signifying a major change in the Indian judiciary. The second-highest Supreme Court judge, Justice Khanna, would become the 51st Chief Justice of India if the government approves. His six-month term ends in May 2025.
