Divya  Delhi:   US Vice-President JD Vance began his four-day official visit to India from April 21 to 24 with a Monday visit to the Akshardham Temple in Delhi. Second Lady Usha and their three children—Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel—accompanied him. Around 6:30 pm today, the Vice President arrived to PM Narendra Modi's home at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi. Both leaders are discussing trade and tariffs in bilateral meetings. Upon landing at the Palam Airport, Vance was received by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. Other visiting dignitaries received a guard of honour. His high-profile visit to India coincides with New Delhi-Washington trade talks. The meeting is aimed at resolving key issues such as tariffs and market access.  morning, Delhi and Noida commuters witnessed high gridlock on National Highway-24 before Vance's visit. Drivers faced long lines at peak hours and substantial delays today. Delhi Traffic Police asked people to avoid critical roads between 9 am and 12 pm and 6 pm and 9 pm.
