In reaction to the United States' unjustified aggression against Iran's territorial integrity and national sovereignty on June 22, 2025, Iran launched military strikes on the American military installation "Al-Udeid" in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter. We have wonderful and enduring ties, thus our act of self-defense has nothing to do with our good neighbor Qatar," Baqaei wrote. Regarding the State of Qatar and other surrounding nations, Iran is still steadfast in its commitment to good neighborliness. We're determined not to allow the criminal aggressions and malicious policies of the United States and Israel against Iran to drive a wedge between us and the neighboring countries," he continued.
