Divya Delhi:  The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts rainfall in numerous regions during the next few days due to shifting weather. On March 23, the Met Office predicts light showers in Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Interior Karnataka. Thunderstorms, lightning, and 40–60 kmph surface winds will hit the stated locations. IMD expects the wet spell with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30 to 40 kmph) to last five days in Arunachal Pradesh. Until March 25, scattered and widespread light to moderate rainfall will relieve heat and dust in northern Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Kerala & Mahe, Lakshadweep, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Rayalaseema, Telangana, and Interior Karnataka may also receive rain. After the winter frost subsided, the heat wave intensified in various regions. Some places with strong weather trends have seen temperature rises. For the next 4–5 days, IMD predicts no heat wave in India.
