Divya Delhi: In the upcoming week, cyclonic circulations will bring gusty winds, lightning, thunderstorms, and heavy rainfall to several states. IMD said in a press statement that Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka would get severe downpours today, while Kerala and Mahe would experience heavy rains until March 6. Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are among the other impacted areas; rain is predicted for April 6. The Weather Department predicts that rain will continue to pummel Arunachal Pradesh today, April 5, while the Andaman & Nicobar Islands will be hit on April 6. On April 6, isolated hailstorms are also predicted to occur over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. On the other side, on April 5 and 6, light showers are predicted for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Odisha, Northeast India, and the South Peninsula.
