Divya Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts warm night weather in scattered areas over Bihar from 23rd to 26th April, which may increase heat. The Met Department predicts a 3-5°C increase in daily maximum temperatures over Odisha over the next three days. Angul, Jharsuguda, Sonepur, Boudh, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Bolangir, Kalahandi, and Nuapada may reach 42 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, isolated East Rajasthan areas will endure heat waves until April 26. Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Haryana, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Gangetic West Bengal, West Rajasthan, Bihar, and Jharkhand are also affected. At 38-39 degrees Celsius, Delhi is suffering. In recent days, partly cloudy skies, light rain, dust-storms, and surface winds have decreased the temperature. The national capital has more humidity. In its daily bulletin, the IMD predicts a 2-4°C drop in maximum temperatures over Delhi in 48 hours and a 2-3°C rise afterward. Delhi has no heat wave until April 26.
