Divya Delhi: According to CM Sukhu, Himachal Pradesh would open boarding schools in Spiti so that no child will be denied an education.The chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, said in the state legislature on Tuesday that no kid would be denied an education and that a boarding school would soon be established in Spiti in the tribal Lahaul and Spiti region. Speaking during the reply to a calling attention motion, Sukhu said that because Himachal Pradesh had fallen to the eighteenth rank, the administration was implementing measures to raise the standard of education. He indicated that in order to guarantee that no kid is denied an education, the government may think about moving pupils to the district headquarters and would pay for them. In the last 20 years, the number of students enrolled in government schools has decreased by 5.13 lakh. He said that school mergers are occurring not only in Himachal but across the whole nation, with 76,000 schools having previously undergone this process.Uttar Pradesh had the greatest number of school mergers (26,000), followed by Madhya Pradesh (18,000), Maharashtra (13,000), Chhattisgarh (2,918), Rajasthan (2,135), Uttarakhand (1,671), and Haryana (623).
