Divya Delhi: A flyover from Shahberi to Crossing Republik in Ghaziabad has been approved by the Greater Noida Authority. Flyovers will enable passengers reach Jewar International Airport and reduce congestion. According to rumors, GRENO will draft a DPR for further processing. DPR preparation is underway at CRRI. A CRRI team recently evaluated the project site and will now prepare the DPR. Ghaziabad residents traveling to Greater Noida International Airport and other western Uttar Pradesh destinations will benefit from the Shahberi flyover. The Greater Noida Authority approved RRI's Shahberi flyover report. Construction will soon begin on a 3.8 km, 16 m-wide flyover connecting the ITeda roundabout to NH-9. Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority wrote CRRI to prepare the DPR. After authority board approval, the state government will review the DPR. The DPR and report for a 4-km-long, 16-meter-wide construction were created. Commercial use of Greater Noida's Jewar Airport is scheduled around April 2025. Many western Uttar Pradesh people would travel through Ghaziabad and Greater Noida to reach the new airport. Therefore, the authority would fix road issues before the airport opens. Ghaziabad to Greater Noida West elevated road ideas by CRRI included a 14-meter and 16-meter flyover. Authorities chose a 16-meter flyover. The 15-meter-wide Shahberi-Crossing Republic road is one mile long. Travelers utilize it to access the Delhi-Meerut Expressway and the Ghaziabad-Noida Link Road, adding traffic to these two locations. Traffic delays cause commuters stress. Local furniture stores' encroachment and unwanted parking worsen the situation. Once the flyover is built, such issues may disappear.
