Divya Delhi: You may have witnessed Pakistan Army chief Asim Munir's insane anti-India diatribe on YouTube. A viral hit. Munir, dressed like a tin pot general, ranting against India like a troll. Munir remarked, “Our ancestors believed we were different from Hindus in every way. Our religion differs. Our customs differ. Our customs differ. We think differently. Our objectives differ... That underpinned the two-Nation Theory. It was based on our two nations, not one." Munir's rants sparked Indian demonstrations. Since many thought he's spouting "bs" Most Pakistani Muslims originate from pre-partition India. They converted from Hinduism and Sikhism. Thus, most Pakistanis share our culture. Munir speaks Urdu, Pakistan's native language. Indians speak this cultural, special-purpose language. Urdu was made on city streets in 12th-century Northwest India. Its words are still employed in Bollywood punchlines and ghazals and qawwalis. Most likely, General Munir knows he's talking "bs." Why make a complete idiot of yourself?
