Social media users criticized Farah Khan for her remark after the episode went viral. On Celebrity MasterChef, Farah stated, “Chhapri logo ka favourite festival hota hai Holi.” Farah said this to the camera while Gaurav and Chef Vikas Khanna were talking. Some netizens criticized Farah Khan's remark, while others backed her. She has not responded to these criticisms. Popular actors Gaurav Khanna, Abhijeet Sawant, Nikki Tamboli, Dipika Kakar, Rajiv Adatia, Ayesha Jhulka, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Kabita Singh, Faisal Shaikh, and Tejasswi Prakash are contestants this season.
