Divya Delhi: Sanvikaa became famous for playing Rinki in ‘Panchayat’. Her path as Rinki has been interesting, from a cameo in the first season to a main character in the second. However, Sanvikaa's mysterious tweet about wanting to be an insider and equal attracted headlines. She tells News24 in an exclusive interview that her post was misinterpreted. Sanvikaa says, “That post came from a very different context. The articles about me I'm reading are exaggerated. It came from deep hurt. Not getting job was not what articles said. No, it is not. Lucky me, I get good calls and opportunities. I'm choosing my favorite characters at my own pace. I am not rushing.”I want certain characters. With Panchayat's platform, I wish to improve. The post came from work, but I didn't expect so many headlines. I guess it was in my head and I needed to vent. I authored it and won't say more, she says.
