Divya Delhi: After two weeks of imputed lottery admissions for economically disadvantaged students to entry-level classes in private unaided recognized schools, Delhi's education department is preparing a similar process for special needs children this week. As per previous orders, Delhi government student admissions for EWS, DG, and CWSN categories must be done using a computerized draw of lots with no human participation. The directorate of education's circular assures that private schools' entry-level admission procedures for these categories (nursery, KG, and Class 1) are entirely computerized, fostering openness and fairness. The initiative prevents external variables from affecting admissions and ensures uniformity. DoE also warned against fraudulently saying they can manage or guarantee admissions in certain reserved categories, threatening to punish any school found guilty. DoE also advised applicants to submit questions or complaints to the website or helpline.
