Divya Delhi:  Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi attended the Shivpora PVR in Srinagar for the red carpet launch of his next movie, "Ground Zero." Being the city's first red carpet movie screening with Hashmi, the occasion was historic and represented the Valley's continued renaissance in filmmaking. "I am very happy to be back in Srinagar," Hashmi remarked, expressing his happiness at his return. We spent roughly 30 days filming "Ground Zero" here, and the weather is fantastic—much better than in Mumbai. As he underlined the importance of the premiere for the people of Kashmir, his excitement struck a chord with the crowd. This is the first red carpet premiere to take place here in years. He remarked, "I ask other filmmakers to do the same and bring their films to Kashmir." Filmmakers, performers, and dignitaries attended the screening and praised the significance of the event. "They are good, respectable, and hospitable," Hashmi said, praising the Kashmiri people's friendliness and warmth. I've always wanted to return time and time again.
