Divya Delhi: External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar held a good meeting with Israeli Finance Minister Gideon Saar on the margins of the Munich Security Conference 2025 (MSC2025). The two leaders talked about bilateral relations and West Asia's current situation. EAM Jaishankar emphasized India's and Israel's strong friendship in a post on X (previously Twitter). He added, “Great to meet FM Gideon Saar of Israel on sidelines of #MSC2025. Discussed the current state of West Asia/Middle East. “Emphasized our bilateral partnership's strength.” This summit is another milestone in the two nations' developing friendship. The talk was about West Asia's changing geopolitical scene, with both parties pledging to work together in several areas. EAM Jaishankar met with Fiji PM Sitiveni Rabuka at the conference, too, in addition to Minister Saar. The two leaders greeted each other warmly and discussed global and regional issues.
