Divya Delhi: following a string of problems for Air India that resulted in an emergency landing in the past few days. An IndiGo flight from Guwahati to Chennai had to make an emergency landing at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru on Friday night after running out of fuel. According to officials, there were 168 people on board the Airbus A321 flight, number 6E-6764. Heavy air traffic prevented the plane from landing when it arrived in Chennai. As a result, the pilot in command decided to reroute the aircraft to Bengaluru and issued a "fuel mayday" call, allowing it to land as soon as possible.
