Divya Delhi: On April 6, 2025, the Delhi Province celebrated the 56th Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal at Satyawati College, University of Delhi. The event brought together intellectuals and educators to reflect on the profound impact of Sanskrit in shaping India’s culture and education. Dr. Chand Kiran Saluja, a renowned scholar, highlighted how Sanskrit has been instrumental in nurturing prosperity, wisdom, and cultural values in India. In his engaging presentation on "Sanskrit in education, culture from Sanskrit, prosperity from culture," Prof. Murali Manohar Pathak, Vice Chancellor of Lal Bahadur National Sanskrit University, eloquently traced Sanskrit’s origins to the dawn of creation. He stressed the importance of discipline and perseverance in education, asserting that Sanskrit embodies the culture of knowledge that has guided humanity’s intellectual growth. Prof. Suhas Pednekar, the keynote speaker and All India Executive President of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal, emphasized the transformative power of education. He likened education to a key that unlocks human potential and fosters prosperity, urging individuals to manage their energy as effectively as their time. He linked the concepts of change and prosperity, explaining that these principles are essential to creating a developed India. Dr. Chand Kiran Saluja, as a guest speaker, reflected on the ancient Indian vision of education — to cultivate individuals who not only gain knowledge but become better human beings.
