Divay Delhi: Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde, and Jeet Adani of Adani Group visited Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) today to monitor building progress. This time, the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister met with senior officials to examine various projects. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said, “We reviewed D. B. Patil Navi Mumbai International Airport progress today. Work is 94% complete. It will be the nation's most advanced airport.” Navi Mumbai Airport will become India's international aviation traffic hub, according to an official declaration. This airport would improve India's global aviation network with world-class facilities, passenger experience, and connectivity. The project is being developed in phases. In its first phase, NMIA will handle 20 million passengers and 0.5 million metric tons (MMT) of freight. It will carry 90 million people and 3.2 MMT freight when finished.
