Divya Delhi:   Sean "Diddy" Combs's attorneys have formally requested a two-month postponement of his impending federal sex-trafficking trial. Combs' attorneys said in a letter submitted to U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian on Wednesday that the May 5 deadline does not give enough time to present a strong defense because prosecutors have not yet disclosed all relevant evidence. All of the accusations against him have been refuted by Combs, who maintains that they are a part of a greater scheme to damage his reputation and discredit him. Prior to this, Diddy had already been charged with three major federal offenses: conspiracy, racketeering, sex trafficking, and transporting people for unlawful reasons. The latest accusations, according to the prosecution, essentially describe how Combs and his colleagues allegedly tricked women into being exploited. Some of these incidents, according to the prosecution, occurred across a number of years and in several states.
