Divya Delhi: Ashish Sood, the minister of education for Delhi, announced on Saturday that the capital's schools will soon adopt a modern curriculum that incorporates cutting-edge technologies like robots, smart boards, and artificial intelligence. Speaking at a government school in Gujarat's Surat, Minister Sood said he was confident that this move would not only raise the standard of instruction at Delhi's government schools but also educate kids about emerging technologies. To observe how studies are conducted using smart boards, he went to a number of the school's classrooms. In addition, he engaged with the kids to find out how beneficial the smart boards are to them and what type of educational support they are receiving. The minister also visited the school's AI and robotics lab, where students demonstrated hands-on work on subjects like drones, 3D printers, and contemporary sensor-based security systems, the government statement said. There are only a few hundred smart boards in government schools in Delhi, the nation's capital and the location of all the resources, according to Sood. Gujarat, a state that frequently experiences floods in various areas, has so far installed over 1.1 lakh smart classrooms. The purpose of the visit was to examine how the National Education Policy 2020 was being implemented and the outstanding educational initiatives that were implemented in different states. Gujarat's educational reforms, according to Sood, are excellent, and other states in the nation ought to learn from them.
