Divya  Delhi:  According to Reuters, China stated it will “not care about it” if the US continues the “tariff numbers game.” The White House said China now faces 245% tariffs for its retaliation, prompting China's foreign ministry's comments. The US-China trade war intensified as Trump's government imposed a 245% tariff on Chinese imports. On Tuesday night, the White House released a fact sheet announcing it. “Over 75 countries have requested trade talks. It claimed the individualised higher duties are delayed during these talks, except for China, which reacted. “China now faces up to a 245% tariff on imports to the United States as a result of its retaliatory actions,” the information sheet read without elaboration. The fact sheet from the White House accused Beijing of blocking the export of gallium, germanium, antimony, and other high-tech materials with military purposes to the US. “Just this week, China suspended exports of six heavy rare earth metals and rare earth magnets to cut off supplies of components vital to automakers, aerospace manufacturers, semiconductor companies, and military contractors worldwide,” it said.
