Divya Delhi:  The Centre is cracking down on media outlets that show their support for Pakistan and promote a Pahalgam terror attack agenda. Indian authorities banned 16 YouTube channels, including Dawn News, Pakistan's top channel. BBC coverage of the Pahalgam incident, which murdered 26 tourists, was criticized by the Centre for using ‘militants’ instead of ‘terrorists’ BBC India CEO Jackie Martin received a letter from the government with ‘strong sentiments’. BBC said, “Pakistan Suspends Visas for Indians After Deadly Kashmir Attack on Tourists.” The headline drew social media ire."Wow," Outlook Managing Editor Sandipan Deb tweeted the BBC news. BBC claims India killed Pakistani visitors in Pahalgam! How much lower can they fall? Vanamali tweeted, “Can’t tell the difference between @AlJazeeraWorld and @BBCWorld.” BBC has perfected massacre prejudice. In Kashmir by LeT or Gaza by Israel. Shameless,” said another social media user. Some said the BBC should cease calling Kashmir “Indian occupied Kashmir”. “BBC, stop using Indian-occupied Kashmir and follow journalistic standards!” Some want BBC India banned.
