Divya Delhi: The CBSE and NCB work together to combat substance misuse in schools nationwide. On September 3, 2025, an MoU will be signed, followed by a principals and counselors awareness program. This campaign will empower students to make responsible choices through workshops, counseling, and drug-free school practices. Substance addiction continues to harm students' health, well-being, and futures. The board declared in an official notice that schools must create safe and supportive settings that discourage substance misuse and promote healthy lifestyles. The MOU will be inked at CBSE Headquarters in Dwarka, New Delhi. This alliance uses awareness activities, workshops, and counseling to create drug-free CBSE schools nationwide. CBSE will hold a substance addiction awareness programme for school principals and counselors after the MoU signing. Teachers will learn practical ways to create safe and supportive school communities in this programme.
