Divya Delhi: According to Al Jazeera, the large Israeli audiences demanded an end to the conflict, the return of all fifty hostages held in Gaza (both alive and dead), and the intervention of US President Donald Trump. A "big, beautiful deal" was the call to action on the banners held by the demonstrators. Amidst continuing ceasefire discussions in Doha between Israeli and Hamas delegations, US President Donald Trump earlier announced that additional 10 hostages held in Gaza are expected to be released "very shortly," according to The Jerusalem Post. We were able to recover the majority of the captives. During a dinner with congressmen at the White House  (local time), Trump remarked, "We're going to have another ten coming very shortly, and we hope to have that finished quickly." This information was reported by The Jerusalem Post. Additionally, the president lauded Steve Witkoff, his special envoy, for his contributions to the continuing negotiations. The Jerusalem Post reports that US-backed proposals for a 60-day truce have been discussed by Israeli and Hamas negotiators at the most recent round of talks in Doha, which began. Over the last several weeks, Trump has implied on multiple occasions that a new hostage deal is imminent.
