Divya Delhi: On Friday, authorities in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district announced the discovery of the lifeless body of a migrant worker from Bihar who had been shot multiple times. After discovering the wounded victim by the roadside, the locals immediately contacted the authorities.The incident was investigated by the local police force after they became aware of it. Authorities in the Zainpora area of the Shopian district have confirmed the discovery of a non-local person's corpse and are currently investigating the cause of death. The deceased, Ashok Chauhan, was a Bihari laborer residing in Jammu & Kashmir's Shopian area. Kuldeep Chauhan was his father. According to the police sources, the victim suffered bullet wounds, and the team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) took samples from the scene. A hospital was notified and the victim's body was transferred there.
