Divya Delhi: The Karnataka state government announced that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's political secretary K. Govindaraju has been fired immediately. The judgment follows the Bengaluru stadium stampede, which killed 11 and injured others.  K Govindaraj's appointment as Chief Minister's Political Secretary is terminated immediately. An official statement stated that K Govindaraj was dismissed of his Political Secretary duties to the Chief Minister immediately.On Friday, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah criticized the BJP for politicizing the 11-person stampede at Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium. He spoke after the BJP accused the Congress-led state administration of making the police a “scapegoat” for the event. CM Siddaramaiah claimed the state had punished “visibly responsible” and “negligent in their duty” officials.
