Divya Delhi: Following his defense of his comments about Jasprit Bumrah, England opener Ben Duckett deactivated his X account (previously Twitter). Duckett claimed in an interview that having faced Bumrah before means he knows what the star bowler can do and won't be ‘surprised’ when England hosts India for a five-match Test series later this year. Duckett told Daily Mail that Bumrah can damage but praised Mohammed Shami. I played Bumrah in a five-Test series. "I know what he'll do to me, but the good news is I know his skills," Duckett told the daily. “Nothing will surprise me. Mohammed Shami's red-ball talents are as dangerous as Bumrah's, making it difficult. He continued, "If I can get through that opening spell, there are runs to be had." Duckett denied his claim that he would perform well against the India fast bowler and recommended another X user to study the post before assuming. Social media screenshots of his comments are circulating after he canceled his account. Last January, Bumrah dismissed Duckett once during England's five-match Test tour of India. After playing four Tests, the Indian pace spearhead took 19 wickets, the third-best total of the spinner-dominated series, to help his team win 4-1. Duckett added that beating India at home is difficult, but they're weaker on tour. “India at home is different from India away. I think we can beat them. He predicted a good series.
