Divya Delhi: The players who received central contracts were listed by the Board of Control Cricket in India (BCCI). With players like Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rohit Sharma in A+, the top-tier contracts are still in place. Notable players return to Grade B, including Shreyas Iyer, who was not able to sign a contract for the previous season. After being removed off the central contract list in 2023–24, Shreyas Iyer made a strong return. during his removal from the Indian Test squad during the second Test match against England, the top batter had a falling out with the selection committee after declining to play in a Ranji Trophy match for Mumbai. He had claimed that he was unable to play red-ball cricket due to a back injury. Since then, Shreyas has contributed significantly to India's triumph in the 2025 Champions Trophy, as he amassed 243 runs from five innings, the most of any player on the squad. He is currently classified as Grade B.
