Divya Delhi:   the interim government claimed India's comments on Bangladesh's demolition of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's home were "unexpected and unwarranted" and that the subject is domestic. Thousands of demonstrators burned Rahman's 32 Dhanmondi home in Dhaka. Rahman led the country's autonomy and independence campaign from this mansion, which became a memorial. Rahman declared Bangladesh's independence from Pakistan in 1971 in this historic house. The "act of vandalism" of the historic mansion was condemned by India, who expressed grief. "I regret that Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's ancient home, a symbol of Bangladeshis' courageous struggle to occupation and persecution, was demolished. All who cherish the freedom struggle that shaped Bangla identity and pride know how important this residence is for Bangladeshi national consciousness "External Affairs Ministry spokeswoman Randhir Jaiswal remarked. Bangladesh's foreign ministry told BSS on Sunday that the Dhanmondi 32 incident is internal, responding to India's comments. "The interim administration has received a statement from India's Ministry of External Affairs. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mohammad Rafiqul Alam told BSS that India's foreign ministry's comments on Bangladesh's domestic issues are unjustified. "Bangladesh does not officially comment on the internal affairs of any state, and it expects the same level of conduct from others," stated. The interim government under Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus criticized Sheikh Hasina's "provocative" speech for "unintended and unexpected" violence in Bangladesh. In a  statement, the Chief Adviser's office stated Rahman's residence was demolished "unintended and unexpected" and was the "outburst of public anger created due to Hasina's provocative statements" against India's July movement. "The administration hopes India won't let Sheikh Hasina speak or use its territory to destabilize Bangladesh. "The interim government wants to prevent such incidents,"
