Divya Delhi: Famous storyteller Sudhanshu Rai made his film debut with the sci-fi supernatural thriller ‘Baida’. The film follows a former assassin who gets trapped in another world. Baida is ambitious and explores a new genre despite its low budget. Check my Baida review to decide if you should see it in theaters. Hiten Tejwani kicked off Baida with a powerful performance. We are then transported to the present with Sudhanshu Rai's Ram, a hitman/assassin haunted by his murder. He embarks on a new life in Sirhar village. Teleported into a foreign planet, he risks his life. Ram spends the rest of the novel trying to save himself and discover the truth about this weird universe. Baida's main flaw is its editing, which sometimes surprises and makes sequences funny. Red lights and split panels were unnecessary editing choices. In various scenes, Sudhanshu Rai lacks impact. He shows practically every emotion with the same intensity, whether it's alarming or confused. He shines in emotional scenes and can show off his acting skills. Sourabh Raaj Jain plays the villain well in the film. His ambiguous demeanor often hinders his performance. Tarun Khanna appears unexpectedly and is ambiguous.
