Divya Delhi: Following the interim government's commencement of debt repayment, both units of Adani Power's Godda facility have started providing power to Bangladesh. According to sources, Adani receives $80-90 million on a regular basis, which also covers the cost of current usage. It is anticipated that the estimated $820–830 million in dues will be paid in the upcoming months. To reassure Adani's lenders and ease the company's financial strain, the Bangladesh Power Development Board had offered assurances. Due to payment difficulties brought on by foreign exchange-related challenges in Bangladesh following the political upheaval, the power plant in Jharkhand cut its supply to India's neighbor in half last year. In October, supply was cut to 724 MW from an installed capacity of over 1,500 MW. Adani even threatened to cut supplies if payment problems were not fixed. However, a few weeks ago, it upped supplies and kept on delivering power.
