Divya Delhi:  A great night for New Zealand's top batter Rachin Ravindra against South Africa in the Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final. He won the match with 108 runs off 101 balls, including 13 fours and a six. Rachin also wanted to play India in the final. New Zealand played all their group matches in Pakistan except for one against India, whereas India played in Dubai. This prompted many questions about India's Dubai games. “We don't know Dubai's pitch. The ball turned in our group game versus India, but not the other day. We adapted and played to situations, which we must do again on Sunday. “We will see in the next couple of days and hopefully it’s a good cricket wicket,” said Rachin Ravindra following a 50-run win against South Africa Rachin scored 6 against India in the group game after falling to Hardik Pandya while trying an upper cut, but he wants to improve in the final. “You get out almost every time you bat. “Hopefully I can bat longer and play well for my team,” he remarked. The young hitter knows the team's expectations for key ICC events. “When you enter a tournament, you hope to be among the top four teams, and we have been consistently good. “Coming here early, we can tell we are cooking well. Group trust and ability are high.”
