Divya Delhi : The Rajasthani Academy, which has promoted Rajasthani culture in Delhi NCR for 33 years, celebrated Teej 2024 with Lions Club Delhi Veg on August 5, 2024, at Bikanervala, Gurugram. The event showcased Rajasthani history with the blessings and ideals of the late Sh. R.N. Lakhotia Ji.The party included mehndi, gajra, a Teej swing, presents, and professional Rajasthani dance performances by institutions and individuals. Rajasthani music, dancing, and Bikanervala chaat made everyone happy.Honored visitors included the Ambassadors of Mauritius and Venezuela, the spouse of the Kyrgyzstan Ambassador, diplomats from Ghana and Niger, and the Union of Comoros Consul General. Everyone danced to Rajasthani music to celebrate.Shri Chunni Lal, Udaipur's Rajya Sabha member, attended. Dr. Gaurav Gupta, President of the Rajasthani Academy, greeted visitors and announced the 32nd Rajasthani Folk Dance Competition (Inter-school) at Kamani Auditorium on October 8, 2024.With her melodic lyrics, Academy Secretary Suman Maheshwari anchored the occasion and made the audience grin.
