Divya Delhi: Many locations have benefited from the monsoon's cooling temperatures and respite. For some, the rains have brought hope, but for others, turmoil. Heavy rains will persist in central and northwest India for the next 4–5 days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Citizens can expect more daily inconveniences as climate change worsens. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) warns that extreme weather may displace thousands and flood highways and homes. Residents should be cautious due to this year's inconsistent yet strong rainfall. Many states have issued yellow and red advisories. East Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, West Uttar Pradesh, South Haryana, and West Rajasthan may encounter heavy to extremely heavy rains. Delhi residents have appreciated the rainfall because it has lowered temperatures and relieved the heat and humidity. The IMD predicts rain, thunderstorms, and lightning in the capital until July 17. Over the coming week, the Meteorological Department predicts light rainfall in Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. Hot and humid conditions were warned for isolated East Assam pockets on July 12 and Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, and Rayalaseema until July 13.
