Divya Delhi:  Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha said his team improved but required better power play after losing by 5 wickets against New Zealand in the second T20I at University Oval. Agha said Pakistan's performance was better than their last game in the post-game news conference. He identified areas where the team needed to improve. The team fielded and batted well against Agha, but bowling was inconsistent due to match conditions. Haris Rauf commented on Pakistan's recent performance, saying they must improve to compete with New Zealand in future games. Salman Ali Agha believes his side needs to improve its batting and bowling before the powerplay matches. Haris and the team performed well in the power play with our bowling. Agha says his squad has to improve powerplay bowling and batting. Fast bowler Haris Rauf protected the team with 2/20 runs. Our squad worked hard but lost. Rauf said their luck was against them in the contest. Rain cut the match short, preventing Pakistan from defending their 135 runs against Afghanistan.
