Adani completes a deal of Rs 7,150 Cr to sell Wilmar International a 20% stake in AWL Agri Business.

Divya Delhi: According to a stock exchange statement by Adani Enterprises, Adani has completed the sale of a 20% stake in AWL Agri Business Limited to Wilmar International, Singapore, for a total deal value of Rs 7,150 crore. At 275 rupees per share, the equity sale was completed. Adani Commodities LLP (ACL), a division of Adani Enterprises Ltd., and Lence Pte. Ltd., a division of Wilmar International, Singapore, signed a contract in December 2024. Later, at a mutually agreed upon price, but no more than Rs 305 a share, they offered each other the chance to purchase or sell AEL/ACL's shares in AWL (Adani Wilmar Limited). Together, the two owned 88% of the business (44% each). AEL/ACL sold 13.5% of its shares in AWL in January 2025 for Rs 276.51 a share.
